Solvay North America representatives have been involved in the American Chemistry Council's efforts, serving on various committees and work groups. Responsible Care is at the very core of the way every Solvay North America company must conduct its day-to-day operations. And that principle has already taken firm hold. Participation to minimize spillage of our products into the environment, recycling of numerous materials, the proper disposal of waste, and improvement in equipment and processes are but a few of many examples of our everyday Responsible Care activities.

Measurements
Solvay North America companies improve our performance by implementing world class management practices; and tracking performance through environmental, health, safety and security measures. As part of our obligations under Responsible Care, we submit annual performance data that are made publicly available on the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care web site.
